About me

I finished my Ph. D. in Computer Science at IIMAS, UNAM and my research interests are in the field of data science and artificial intelligence in multimodal data analysis. I have worked on clinical machine learning and the explainability of predictive models.

During my Ph.D. I evaluated several machine learning models and an explainability approach for predicting hospital mortality. From these models, I distinguished risk markers in two subpopulations of patients with Acute coronary syndrome. I also proposed an architecture based on dilated causal convolutional neural networks for predicting multivariate time series to simulate the patient's clinical behavior.
