KEBA: "Knowledge Evolving from Behaviour" Architecture Copyright Carlos Gershenson 2001-2003 COGS, University of Sussex/Vrije Universiteit Brussel http://student.vub.ac.be/~cgershen cgg'AT'unam.mx Requirements (available form http://java.sun.com): -Java SDK or JRE -Java3D SDK or JRE For running KEBA, you need to decompress the KEBA.jar archive (this can be done with jar or with WinZip) (keep the directory names!) after this, type: $java keba.KEBA or $java -jar KEBA.jar but you need to decompress the images into the directory keba/img Or also just run or double-click $keba.bat which just does the first one. TIPS: -Pause the simulation before making changes to the environment. -If you minimize the KEBA window, the simulation goes much faster. Also if the textures are not loaded (just delete or move them), but warnings will appear... -Save simulations... -The memory gets full and errors might appear. Sometimes this can be solved stopping and restarting the simulation. Other errors due to Java3D are a bit of a mystery, and if the program is re-run they dissapear.
