Roads to Anarvin

Men were able to see Anavrin on top of a mountain, and many roads leading to it. Some men, those of weak heart, just were amazed by the magnificence of Anavrin, but their souls were too weak and conformist to try to reach it.

But there were men with will.

Some men tried to reach Anavrin through the road of water. Many didn’t know how to swim, and they drowned. The rest ran into a waterfall, and nothing was heard of them since.

Some men tried to reach Anavrin through the road of wine, but they got drunk and fell asleep.

Some men tried to reach Anavrin through the road of glass, but it was too fragile for their clumsiness, so they broke it, and cut themselves.

Some men tried to reach Anavrin through the road of the rainbow, but they never reached the end of it.

Some men tried to reach Anavrin through the road of the sheep, but they began to behave like sheep, and finally the shepherds adopted them as part of their flock.

Some men tried to reach Anavrin through the road of the wolves, but hunger lurked them and they finished hunting each other.

Some men tried to reach Anavrin through the road of loneliness, but they forgot where did they wanted to go.

Some men tried to reach Anavrin through the road of pleasure, and they forgot why they wanted to go to Anarvin.

Some men tried to reach Anavrin through the road of desire, so they desired each other and forgot what they were searching for.

Some men tried to reach Anavrin through the road of freedom, but it was too huge for them and they preferred to return.

Some men tried to reach Anavrin through the road of rain, but their souls got soaked and coldness filled them, while the moisture rot their hearts.

Some men tried to reach Anavrin through the road of the thunder and lightning, but they were struck and only their ashes remained.

Some men tried to reach Anavrin through the road of law, but it dominated them, and they could not turn their way from a straight path.

Some men tried to reach Anavrin through the road of chaos, but it dominated them, and they could not control their way anymore.

Some men tried to reach Anavrin through the road of memories, but they never reached the present.

Some men tried to reach Anavrin through the road of expectations, but they never left their present.

The few men that still wanted to go to Anarvin, on top of the mountain, watching what had happened to their brothers in all the roads they took, grabbed a shovel and made their own road...
