The BVL compiles with Java 1.2.*, and libraries included in the Cosmo Player 2.*. It was tested with Netscape Navigator 4.*, so perhaps it will work only partially or not at all in other plataforms.
The BVL can be used to test and understand different properties of animal behavior. You can use it for educational and research purposes as long as you give credit to its creators.
