DNA Copied With Convection, Nature Science update

Excerpts: (...) PCR in a circular chamber 5 millimetres wide, heated from
beneath its centre. This sets up a convection current - hot water rises in the
middle of the chamber and flows towards its edge, where it cools and sinks.

(...) The enzyme copies single DNA strands at the chamber's cool periphery, and
these strands then pair up. The convection current carries the double strands to
the hot centre, where they are prised apart before being borne back to the
edges.
